Finding success in Houston, Hospitality USA's ( Baker St. Pub & Grill and Sherlock’s Pub) gastropub concept Local Pour is poised to do the same in The Woodlands. The second outpost of the craft beer bar opened this week in the newly developed Hughes Landing Restaurant Row. The 7,500-square-foot space boasts seating for 274, with additional space for 65 on the scenic patio overlooking Lake Woodlands.
Offering a large variety of draft and bottled beers, the bar gets major chef cred with a menu crafted by Randy Evans. The former chef/owner of Haven turned restaurant consultant, assisted with the direction of the restaurant portion, adding locally raised meats and locally grown produce to the menu. Collaborating with HUSA Corporate Chef Pablo Gomez, Evans introduces dishes like Korean pork lollipops, herb roasted wood grilled chicken and walnut pesto pasta primavera to the menu. Lunch and a late night menu will launch later this month, with brunch following shortly behind.
