A second Houston-area location of popular New Orleans-based pizza chain Reginelli's Pizzeria will be opening up next week (map at right). Back in February of last year, chain founders Darryl Reginelli and Bruce Erhardt partnered with Ti Adelaide Martin (Commander's Palace in New Orleans) and her brother Alex Brennan-Martin (Brennan's of Houston) to open the first Houston location in the Memorial City area (12389 Kingsride).
The second Reginelli's will look exactly like the original Houston location and will serve up the same recipes the chain's been offering for almost 18 years, including Reginelli's popular gumbo pizza and Saltimbocca, a pie topped with marinated chicken breast and prosciutto with fresh lemon juice. A rep for the place tells Eater that part of the menu will be updated to "include a focus on New Orleans flavors." This outpost will be open Sunday through Thursday from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. and Friday and Saturday from 11 a.m. to midnight.
