Eater Houston paid one last visit to Moon Tower Inn before they closed temporarily. The game meat hot dog stand that is equally crowded for the laid back, outdoor vibe as it is for the hot dogs and beer is on hiatus until February to demolish the current building and start anew. When they re-open, improvements will include a more efficient kitchen that will reduce the wait time (a huge problem with the old facility) and a tap wall that will hold over 40 draft beers.

We bid the old place adieu with a few pints, some rabbit hot dogs and lots and lots of pictures. We've also included a few from the Open the Taps party they hosted over the summer for good measure. See you next year, Moon Tower.
