Steps for getting on NPR: 1) Make a cotton candy Caesar salad, 2) Have it written up in the Houston Press. My Table Magazine's 27th Annual Caesar Salad Competition was held over the weekend and judge/food critic, Katharine Shilcutt wrote up the most outstanding entries, one being a heart of romaine covered in cotton candy full of Caesar salad elements. It was so intriguing NPR's Morning Edition picked it up as a story today. We're interested to see what entries will top that next year. [NPR, EOW]
