Cypress residents, get ready for an explosion of new tapas restaurants. Ok, maybe that's hyperbole, but considering the amount of tapas restaurants in the greater Houston area, it does seem like somewhat of a boom to have two opening up in the northwest suburb at the same time. Eating Our Words reports that Piqueo, a Peruvian tapas restaurant (from the owner of its literal next door establishment, Mezzanotte) and 1252 Tapas are both set to begin serving guests the middle of next month.
