Mytiburger in Oak Forest is for sale and it's going to cost you $950,000 (but hey, that price includes a giant plot of land, the building and the business).
Current owner, Kathy Green, put the old fashioned hamburger/shakes/onion rings restaurant on the market after years of working 7 days a week and dealing with her husband's health problems. However, after all the sweat equity Green's invested in the burger stand that she bought from the original owners—who started the place in 1967—she's not just selling to the first bidder.
If the right offer doesn't come in by her self-imposed deadline of February 2012, Green will most likely take the business off the market and as she puts it, leave it "in God's hands," which basically means she'll hire a manager to help her run the place.
