Over the weekend, five employees, including one manager, walked out of Ruggles Grill for "non-payment of tips."
Ruggles Grill owner Bruce Molzan, who also acts as the restaurant's chef, told the Chronicle, "I'm sorry the employees are mad and am doing my best to get everything straightened out."
Molzan also claimed the problem was due to a hard drive crash stemming from "an internal audit last month and that many files have gone missing, including sales reports and other company documents."
Just the tip of the controversial iceberg, Molzan is also involved in what could be described as "a lot of ins, a lot of outs, a lot of what-have-you's," including several lawsuits involving Ruggles Green and Ruggles 11th Street Cafe.
