Previously only offering their vegan and vegetarian Mexican delights at farmer's markets and catering events around town, Radical Eats quietly opened the doors to their new location earlier this month. The July 3rd grand opening included a garden planting session where attendees pitched in and were thanked with free vegan tamales, chili relleno and aguas frescas.
Just prior to opening the new venue, Radical Eats was providing all the fare at the also newly opened Heights Ashbury Coffee House. After a wholly positive review from Houston Press food critic, Katharine Shilcutt, Radical Eats suddenly and mysteriously parted ways with Heights Ashbury citing that the "kitchen is just not big enough for our growing tamale business."
Radical Eat's new location is open from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. Tuesday - Saturday.
