Since the Top Chef Texas pay to play allegations broke earlier this week, reports have been trickling in from Dallas, Austin and the various Texas tourism boards. All have denied spending cash in exchange for Top Chef filming locations, although Dallas confirmed that they, too (in addition to the Houston Convention and Visitor's Bureau) had been approached for an "investment opportunity" in relation to the Bravo reality show.
In essence, it seems the great state of Texas as well as Houston, Austin and Dallas did not hand over any monetary offerings for Top Chef filming. No word from San Antonio on the issue.
