Houston based food blog, The Mighty Rib welcomed a new writer, awesomely named Fatty FatBastard (the writer, not the blog feature). Kevin Shalin, Mighty Rib founder and editor, met Fatty while briefly writing for Eating Our Words where Mr. FatBastard was a regular commenter. It looks like the online friendship has translated into more than just witty comment banter. Taking on Taco Cabana in the monthly feature about junk food called, The Junkie, Fatty proves his commenting skills can translate into real writing. [TMR]
