Culturemap's Sarah Rufca got a sneak peak at Sorrel Urban Bistro, which opens tonight. The first thing she noticed, "an unencumbered view into the world of executive chef Soren Pedersen," from the flat screen televisions at the hostess stand with a live feed from the kitchen as well as an open kitchen itself.
As far as menus go, expect lots of rotation from the farm fresh concept, an emphasis on prix fixe meals and mostly local products featured in the dishes. If you're planning on boozing there, Sorrel will offer a large selection of organic wines, wines on tap, craft beers and seasonal cocktails.
