The First Taste

Not long after Tony Vallone's Italian eatery Caffe Bello closed in Montrose, a new tenant was in the space and readying it for business. That new tenant was local Tex-Mex chain, Don Julio's. Eating Our Words gets the first look and has little nice to say about the place other than the margaritas are good. Katharine Shilcutt predicts that it just may survive longer than its predecessor, but only because "Sometimes, it seems, folks just settle." [EOW]
