Freetail Suspends Plans for Houston Brewpub

Houston beer drinkers, it's time to grab a beverage (although not one of Freetail's) to cry into, because it looks like Freetail Brewing Company might not be coming to downtown Houston after all. In a press release fresh off the wire, the San Antonio-based brewery announced the "indefinite suspension of plans for a second location." In other words, no beer for you, Houston.

Freetail's announcement cites a lack of capital (i.e. investment dollars) as their reasoning, so there is a glimmer of hope for Freetail Houston. Want to invest? We'll buy you a beer.
