CNN Profiles Lakesha Reed of Beaucoup Bar & Grill

CNN's Defining America project came to Texas and found Lakesha Reed, a "grandma trained" chef that moved to Houston by way of Hurricane Katrina evacuations in 2005.

Reed, who owns Beaucoup Bar & Grill, started the New Orleans comfort food restaurant because she found "there was just nothing authentic [in Houston] - nothing true that like you could get at the corner store back home."

She also goes on to describe what goes into making Beaucoup's crawfish bread, which is one of her signature dishes. "I eat out all the time here in Houston, 'cause I just look to try new things and I can't find a restaurant (and I probably eat out every day) [...] that has it [crawfish bread]."
