Rucker Unveils Name and Logo of New Restaurant

New, 3 comments

And just like that, James Beard nominated chef, Randy Rucker unleashed his new restaurant's branding out into the vast expanse of the internet. On Twitter, to be exact. Yes, the same Twitter he quit not too long ago.

The name will be con?t and the meaning behind it comes from a Ralph Waldo Emerson quote, "In the wilderness, I find something more dear and connate than in streets and villages."

The word connate means, "Being in close accord or sympathy; congenial" according to TheFreeDictionary.com (the link sent to Eater from Rucker to explain the meaning of his new restaurant's moniker).
