Montrose is already awesome, but in January of next year, it's going to be awesomer (hopefully), especially if you're into sushi. Why? Well, just read the title y'all. Uchi is opening...but you know how new restaurant openings go. It was announced back in April that doors would be open by November 1.
The Austin-based Japanese restaurant featuring the dishes of James Beard winner, chef Tyson Cole, has been busy procuring permits, remodeling the Houston landmark of Felix Mexican Restaurant and hiring staff to get ready. Let's just hope they don't have as tough a time sticking to deadlines as the downtown Phoenicia.
