Scott Castell, executive chef at Brenner's is leaving Houston altogether. After heading up the Landry's owned steakhouse for nearly 4 years, Castell is moving to Colorado to do research and development for Saltgrass Steakhouse. In addition to the new position, Castell has a much more important reason for skipping town, "I'm heading to CO to be with my daughter while she's in high school, which she just started. I've missed out on lots of her life, and I don't want miss anymore." His last day at Brenner's will be October 15. [Eaterwire]
