Samba Grille, Eater Houston's first ever One Year In interviewee, is the subject of this week's Houston Press review and the verdict is that it's a "wonderfully nontraditional steakhouse, the steaks are better than ever — and the rest of the menu is, too." While the food was raved about, food critic Katharine Shilcutt was "saddened to find the restaurant underpopulated," even though she became "more excited with every successive visit to Samba Grille."
