Tony's, Houston's icon of fine dining, is on a hot media streak; first a coveted four stars from the Chronicle's food critic, Alison Cook, then a mention in the Forbes' top 10 list of power lunch spots around the U.S. Joining the respectable list were The Palm in D.C., Fearing's in Dallas and many others scattered throughout the nation. Tony's made the list, in part due to the "kings of crude," which sounds like a ridiculous comedy tour, but the only thing more ridiculous are the bills these kings are expensing on their power lunches.
