The kitchen in Uchi Houston works just fine, and as Philip Speer, director of operations for Uchi Restaurants, tweeted over the weekend, it has churned out its inaugural dish. This can only mean one thing: an impending opening. We'll keep pestering general manager and all-around nice guy, Dan Allen to let us know a concrete date as soon as possible.
