A Beaumont Drive-in In Danger

pig-stand.jpgThe good people slightly to the east in Beaumont, Texas are taking action to save the historic building that once housed The Pig Stand #41. Built in 1941, this classic drive-in is in danger of being demolished, so naturally, people have made t-shirts to save it. The building itself is eligible for the National Registration of Historic Places and was once a hub for celebrities passing through like Elvis, Willie Nelson, Marilyn Monroe and of course native Beaumonter, the Big Bopper.
