UPDATED: Toughest Reservation in Town

Not even open yet, and it's already the toughest reservation in town. Uchi Houston's general manager, Dan Allen tells Eater that the weekends are booked through February. When the reservation lines opened on January 18, Uchi was bombarded with over 600 calls requesting a table at the modern Japanese restaurant, which opens to the public this Thursday, February 2nd. UPDATE: On Twitter, @tgutting points out that starting Friday, Feb. 24, there are plenty -o- reservations to go around on the weekends. Just check out Open Table if you're interested. [Eaterwire]
