Sommelier at Hugo's, Backstreet Cafe and Trevisio Sean Beck was dubbed Mixologist of the Month by Wine Enthusiast Magazine. In the article, Beck talks Texas spirits and says of Houston, "It doesn't follow rules [...] Houston is so spread out that people aren't cognizant of what other people are doing. So people march to their own drummer." There's probably a less nice way to say this, but good on you, Beck. [Twitter]
