Since El Real Tex-Mex presents itself as serving "Vintage Tex-Mex," it only makes sense to compare dishes on its menu to the originals that inspired them. If that means traveling to Marfa in far west Texas to compare the flat enchiladas at Mando's with the ones being served in Montrose, so be it. [29-95]
