Since Provisions features a wood burning over, chefs Terrence Gallivan and Seth Siegel-Gardner put it to good use by making pizzas that are already attracting attention from Chronicle critic Alison Cook, who names them her dish of the week. "That uni pizza could be a metaphor for the whole Provisions operation, where Siegel-Gardner and Gallivan are doing a tightly edited menu of standards ... that manages to be accessible without sacrificing intelligence — or the occasional thrill."
