Back in July, the owners of Washington Avenue craft beer and cocktail bar Liberty Station revealed their plans to open Cottonwood, which improves on Liberty's template with a larger tap wall and a full menu. After a preview party last weekend, it opened to paying customers yesterday.
One of the signature features is the 2,000sq ft patio where customers can play games such as cornhole and foosball. The menu features typical bar fare (burgers, wings) with some surprises such as stuffed quail and barbecued oysters. Overall, it looks like a solid addition to the growing number of places in Houston for craft beer drinkers to get their fix.
