Funeral Bars Officially a 'Nuisance'

Two of three bars nicknamed the "funeral bars" in Upper Kirby were officially deemed a "nuisance" by a jury last week. Roak and Hendrick's Pub of the trio, which also includes non-nuisance OTC, were labeled as such after the conclusion of a lawsuit brought by the surrounding subdivision. For now the bars will remain open until a judge has a final say on whether or not the two can remain open. [Culturemap, Swamplot]
