What Did You Call Me?

OxheartPoll150.jpgContinuing today's theme of entertaining rants, CultureMap's Sarah Rufca is annoyed by national writers who try to come up with pithy terms to describe Houston's eclectic dining scene. Whether John T. Edge's "Mutt City" or Hanna Raskin's "Bastard Cooking," Rufca writes that "the term still reeks of pejorative connotations, marking Houston's mutt cuisine (ugh, for lack of a better term) as something that debases the original."
