As part of this week's OKRA fundraisers, both Oxheart chef Justin Yu and Underbelly chef Chris Shepherd are cooking in the Grand Prize kitchen and having a friendly competition to see who can raise more money. Last night, Yu served fried potatoes including one named after Underbelly that utilizes the same Steen's Cane Syrup that Shepherd uses in his signature pork belly dish. Whether Shepherd plans to respond with an item on his menu remains to be seen, but this image is a pretty good indication that the good-natured smack talk is still very much on.
