Two items from the world of local brewers. First, Saint Arnold announced that the first release of its Icon series, a Belgian pale ale, will take place on December 10. Unlike the Divine Reserve series that sells out on its first day in stores, the Icon series will run for an entire quarter, which will allow fans to try it without waiting in line. Second, Buffalo Bayou Brewing Company released its first bottled beer today; it's called Smoke on the Bayou and features malt that's been smoked. Since it was brewed in limited quantities and only sold at two retail outlets, it's probably already gone. [CultureMap, Beer TX]
