Roasted Oysters on Saturday; Grilled Lobster Next Sunday

HEIGHTS— Chef Randy Rucker will be hosting an oyster roast at Kaboom Books from 2:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. as part of Saturday's Lights In The Heights festivities. The event will also feature new beers from the upcoming Brewery Incubator project. As Rucker says in a press release about oyster season, "I can't think of a better way to celebrate that than to slurp oysters with friends & family & rinse 'em down with cold beer & punch!" All the details are on the event's Facebook page. $20 suggested donation. [Eaterwire]
