Round 1: Schmit, Hildebrand, O'Donnell, Edwards

It's the final day of Round 1 in Eater Houston's first annual Hottest Chefs competition, where you, the readers, determine which of these four chefs will head into the semi-finals starting next week.

Just to recap, here are the winners from the previous votes: Daniela Soto-Innes of Triniti, Rebecca Masson of Fluff Bake Bar, Ronnie Killen of Killen's Steakhouse, Raj Dixit of The Inn at Dos Brisas, Jennifer Hill of Ava Kitchen & Whiskey Bar, Erin Smith of Plonk Beer & Wine Bistro and our most recent winner, Terrence Gallivan of Pilot Light RG.

Up for the last Round 1 vote of Hottest Chef 2012 are Philippe Schmit, aka the French Cowboy, of Philippe; Ryan Hildebrand of the newly opened Triniti; Vanessa O'Donnell, pastry chef and owner of Ooh La La Dessert Boutiques; and Beaumont native Kaz Edwards (welcome to town!), chef de cuisine at Uchi Houston.
