The final vote in the annual Eater's Hottest Chef (Houston version) is here after 10 days of voting, and the competition is fierce. We began by narrowing the field of 32 individual Houston-area chefs, nominated by you, our readers, down to eight semifinalists and now, the final two face off in a head to head vote. Today's winner will move on to the national competition on Eater.com to compete against the hottest chefs from New Orleans, Philadelphia, Dallas, Austin, Denver, Boston, Las Vegas, New York, D.C., Miami, San Francisco, New York, Atlanta, L.A., Seattle and Portland.
Without further adieu, we present to you chef Ronnie Killen of Killen's Steakhouse in Pearland as well as a planned expansion into inner-Loop Houston, and chef/owner/businesswoman Vanessa O'Donnell of Ooh La La Dessert Boutique, with locations in Katy and Houston.
