Landry's Restaurants is moving to shutter Morton's the Steakhouse locations in Phoenix, Atlanta, Boston, Denver and more. On Feb. 1, the West Palm Beach location was instructed to begin calling customers to cancel reservations, only to later learn that the company had made a mistake and the restaurant would remain open. The two Houston locations are safe from closure, but to be perfectly honest, why would you eat at a place called Morton's when you could spend all your days and nights on the Pleasure Pier? [HBJ]
