City Hall Farmers Market; Chowhounds Crawfish Boil

DOWNTOWN — After a long and mild winter, the City Hall Farmers Market resumes this Wednesday, Feb 22. As usual, stands will be open from 11am to 1:30pm serving largely hot meals. [Eaterwire]

MEMORIALThe Houston Chowhounds are hosting a crawfish boil of "epic proportions" with Jim Gossen of Louisiana Foods as a fundraiser and spring membership drive for Foodways Texas. Saint Arnold will be providing the beer and the event will also act as a book launch party for Robb Walsh's new cookbook Texas Eats. Tickets for the March 11 event at Vargos are $20. [Eaterwire]
