Hey y'all, diabetes medication & ham promoter Paula Deen is back on the ticket for 2012's Metropolitan Cooking & Entertaining Show when it stops in Houston. The event, coming mid-September, will also feature Giada De Laurentiis and Jacques Pépin as well as 200 exhibitors, cooking demos and workshops. Might we remind Ms. Deen to tell her assistant to pack husband Michael some slacks and a jacket this time? We'd hate to see her turned away from another steakhouse. [Eaterwire]
