Robb Walsh documents what really goes on behind the scenes of a television shoot after Unique Eats producer Irene Wong showed up at El Real over the weekend. And yes, it was to film a segment for the Cooking Channel show (as Eater already reported Amanda Freitag was in town the weekend before to research for the shoot). Wong and her crew showed up at 4 a.m. to start working and the entire thing took a total of 9 hours to complete. Here's to hoping all that hard work means El Real makes the cut and we see some close-ups of those puffy tacos when it airs. [RobbWalsh.com]
