No matter how you felt about Phil's Texas BBQ on Washington, the large space it vacated on Washington and Waugh is now going to be filled by J Black's Feel Good Lounge. According to reports on Twitter, construction started this week on the building and David Leftwich reports that the sign out front says it will be here "Spring 2012." J Black's also has locations on 6th Street in Austin and in Dallas featuring "easy-to-share menu items, creative cocktails, a diverse wine list, and an attentive, friendly staff."
