Brennan's of Houston chef Danny Trace was on the Today show this morning cooking up some crawfish dishes for Hoda Kotb and random fill-in host for Kathie Lee Gifford, Lee Brice (a country singer).
Brice gets really excited to watch the "kitchen wizardry" of Trace preparing a "barbecued crawfish shortcake." So excited, in fact that Brice tells us he's "into stuff from the mud," when referencing the crawfish. Saint Arnold, which was used in the dish, also gets a nice little shout-out on national television, courtesy of chef Trace.
