HEIGHTS—Liberty Kitchen & Oyster Bar in the Heights is extending hours starting this Monday, April 2. They will be open Monday - Friday from 11 a.m. "til the last person leaves." New hours also mean a new late afternoon menu during the week from 2 - 5 p.m. Saturday and Sundays, Liberty Kitchen is serving breakfast and lunch 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., dinner from 5 p.m. "til last person leaves." FOOD TRUCK LAND—The city's first all-French food truck will be ready to hit the streets "mid-to-late" April and is cheekily named L’es-Car-Go. It is owned and operated by Jean-Philippe and Genevieve Guy of Bistro Provence in the Energy Corridor. [Eaterwire]

RIVER OAKS—On Tuesday, April 10, Central Market is hosting a cooking class with some of the chefs featured in the Houston cookbook, Green Beans and Guacamole, of which proceeds benefit a local nonprofit. The class is $70 per person and includes a copy of the cookbook. [Eaterwire]
