What's food critic, Robb Walsh, to do when he leaves the review writing business? Why, go into the book writing/signing and pasta shilling business, of course (other than teaching cooking classes and owning Tex-Mex restaurants). Walsh will be at the Sacred Heart Society spaghetti luncheon Thursday, March 8 to sign copies of his latest book, Texas Eats (there's a segment dedicated to this Houston tradition of delicious spaghetti), and he just so happens to be working for Skinner pasta helping to publicize a new essay writing contest. The grand prize is $10,000 and here are the rules. [Texas Eats]
