When Oxheart's crew isn't giving interviews to Eater Houston, they're giving Alison Cook, food critic for the Chronicle, hard hat tours of their almost-open space. Fun details to emerge from the tour: "they'll spin old-school vinyl (donations accepted)," they've collected "vintage cooking and service pieces," they'll employ "custom-designed" leather aprons and will hang art made from "vegetables dipped into pig's blood, which is to say the yin and yang of their menu." As for that last one, Cook assures us, "I am not making that up." See photos here of the space. [29-95]
