Late Night Pie, a pizza place in Midtown, was destroyed in a massive fire this past February. Today KHOU is reporting that its former manager, Raymond Pecher, is in police custody on suspicion that he "intentionally set the restaurant on fire with gasoline." Surveillance tapes from a neighboring car lot show "Pecher leaving the restaurant just as smoke began."
Pecher is being held of $100,000 bond and claims he "arrived at the building at 3 a.m. to close the business," and that "nothing was on fire" when he left.
