Alert! Editor Position Now Available at Eater Houston

We here at Eater are sorry to report that inaugural Eater Houston editor, Amber Ambrose, is leaving her post to spend more time raising her rambunctious 3 year-old daughter and jump back into the world of freelance writing. For one very passionate Houston food enthusiast, this could be the opportunity you've been waiting for. The title of Eater Houston's editor awaits.

Are you obsessed with Houston restaurants, chefs, news, gossip, and all the fun drama that goes along with it? Find yourself refreshing this very site an embarrassing number of times per day? Have a competitive spirit for breaking news and uncovering stories? If the answer's "yes," read on.

This is a freelance gig with commensurate pay, and you'll be able to work from anywhere you want so long as you have access to good restaurant and nightlife intel and are available to blog on a daily basis.

If you think you fit the bill, drop an email to jobs@eater.com with a brief description about yourself and a paragraph or two about why you're interested in the job. If you've got a blog and/or a Twitter account, please include a link to them as well. No resumes or childhood memories, please. If we like what we see, we'll be in touch quickly. Thanks.
