Former Bootsie's pastry chef Chris Leung revealed on twitter Friday night that he has accepted a position at Kata Robata. With plans for Restaurant Con?t scuttled, Leung informed Eater that he has accepted a position to transform the dessert menus for Kata and the Azuma locations downtown and on Kirby.
Although he is not yet ready to schedule dessert tastings, Leung said they are in his plans. He's also pondering an opportunity with con?t backers Balcor Hospitality and promised more details soon.
