Coal Burger in The Woodlands Flames Out

Coal Burger in the Woodlands has closed, HTown Chow Down's Albert Nurick reports today. While Nurick proclaimed himself a fan of burgers cooked in a coal fired over, he notes that the restaurant suffered from poor parking and consistency issues. During a visit last year, blogger Matt Chow discovered those consistency issues for himself. He found coal proved to be an accurate description of an overly charred, dried out patty. Grimaldi's Pizzeria, Coal Burger's parent restaurant, will expand into the now vacated space.
