The Chronicle's Alison Cook reports that outside-the-loop French restaurant, Aura, is moving from its current location in Missouri City to a spot in the Sugar Land Town Square previously inhabited by Shogi. However, it "won't be a lock-stock-and-barrel removal or a duplication, either."
The new restaurant will become "Aura Brasserie Moderne," while the original Aura in Missouri City will transition into "Cuoco Pazzo (Italian for 'crazy chef')", becoming "an Italian restaurant with French Riviera overtones." Estimated opening dates for the new location are hovering around early fall.
