Here's a look inside two restaurants that opened their doors this week. Located in the Museum District, Lucille's menu features Southern classics like shrimp and grits with European touches. The three dining rooms are linked with hardwood floors but have different vibes based on design features such as exposed brinks in one and a fireplace in another.
Cuchara, which is in the heart of Montrose at the intersection of Taft and Fairview, features wall and ceiling murals by artist Cecilia Beaven that evoke the restaurant's name as a "Mexico City Bistro." Large windows look onto the street. Polished concrete floors and contemporary furniture complete the look.
