Cease and Desist

gooddogback.jpgGood Dogs Hot Dogs serves as a cautionary tale for small businesses that fail to register their trademark prior to opening. Bruce Keith from Colorado used the fact that he maintained a website of the same name since 2004 to win the trademark from the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office, which lead to Good Dogs losing its Facebook page, Twitter handle and Wordpress domain. Owner Daniel Caballero says they are currently planning to rename and move on, possibly in a new storefront location. [Eating Our Words]
