As noted in the Fall Preview, Ronnie Killen insists his project to open a restaurant in the Heights is still moving forward, but one sign to the contrary came today when he told CultureMap that he's transforming the Pearland location of Killen's Steakhouse into a burger and barbecue restaurant and moving the steakhouse to another, larger location in Pearland. Killen says he'll make the burgers using trimmings from the steakhouse and bake the buns in house. [CultureMap]
